How do I verify a Chinese supplier before paying?
Start by matching the PRC legal entity, registration status, business scope, address and payment beneficiary, then review available court and enforcement indicators. For a higher-value or higher-risk order, add an agreed visit to the actual operating site.
Are supplier verification, a factory audit and pre-shipment inspection the same?
No. Supplier verification checks the legal entity and basic risk signals, a factory audit assesses the site and operating systems, and a pre-shipment inspection checks a specific finished batch before balance payment or shipment.
Can an inspector enter without the factory’s agreement?
An inspector can travel to the address, but entry, filming and access to goods require prior agreement. A refusal is documented.
What is AQL?
AQL is a statistical sampling method. The sample size and acceptable defect limits are agreed before inspection for the product and client requirements.
When is the report delivered?
For standard goods, the preliminary result is sent on the visit day and the full report is normally delivered within 24 hours.
Can you inspect technical equipment?
Yes. Engineers, specialist tools and technical tests are quoted separately after reviewing the specification.
Do you guarantee a refund or shipment?
No. We are responsible for the agreed verification and evidence. Negotiation, legal demands and litigation are separate services.
